A Victorian mansion set on 250 acres in the heart of the Yarra Valley, Chateau Yering Hotel boasts 32 individually furnished five-star suites. We have 3 private meeting rooms and gorgeous conference centre that cater for 4-150 delegates.

From an elegant boardroom style meeting with a mahogany table for 14 to that conference space called The Oak Room which can accommodate 150, we have the facilities you need for your next corporate event. The superbly furnished conference rooms have an atmosphere of classic elegance, complemented by 21st-century technology.

Whatever corporate equipment you need, from whiteboards and flipcharts to podiums and audiovisual, we can provide it. In addition, every suite and meeting room has complimentary wireless internet. So you’ll be out of town, but never out of touch.

The lounges, which showcase fine paintings and antique furniture, are ideal for tea breaks and post-conference drinks by the fire. The beautiful heritage gardens are also at your disposal. Archery, Tennis, Segway and Laser Strike are just a few of the activities we can offer on the grounds. Or perhaps you would prefer an exclusive wine tasting or wine blending activity.

Activities

The Oak Room

Chateau Yering hotel’s spectacular Oak Room with friends, family and colleagues. With elegant period decor and magnificent views across the Yarra Valley the Oak Room can accommodate up to 150 people. The Oak Room caters for all events and conferences with menus designed by our head chef.

Our purpose-built conference room is over 160 m2, and is a part of Chateau Yering Hotel’s commitment to provide a focal point for hospitality and events for the Yarra Valley and Melbourne’s east. This facility continues the classic design traditions and attention to detail that have elevated Chateau Yering Hotel to a place of prominence in the Australian hospitality industry.

It can accommodate up to 60 people U-Shape or 140 people banquet style, while small meetings of 10 – 20 people also have the flexibility of room setup and space to spread out. The Oak Room also offers a bar and separate lobby area for your conference meals.

The Library

With dark rich timbers and an open fire place, our Library provides a warm atmosphere for conferences, private dinners or pre-event drinks and canapés.
It can open up to our stately bar for pre or post event drinks. Why not enjoy a quiet game of chess after dinner or relax with a good book in front of the fire during winter.
We can also accommodate up to 20 people for a seated private dinner, which makes this room ideal for small engagement or birthday dinners, and has even been host to some unique intimate weddings.

It can accommodate 16 people in a U-Shape for small- medium size conferences or 20 people with theater style seating. The Library offers free WIFI and can accommodate a screen, data projector and other AV equipment if needed.

The Chinese Room

Private Dining Room

This elegant private dining room is ideal for small conferences and intimate functions of up to 14 people. With an elegant mahogany table and impressive views of our heritage listed gardens, this is the perfect room for a small Yarra Valley conference retreat or private lunch or dinner.

We recommend conferences up to 10 people in The Chinese Room as this allows for space for a data projector, screen and flip chart/ whiteboard. It offers plenty of natural light and has 1 wall of floor to ceiling windows. It has complimentary WIFI and also its own private entrance into Sweetwater Café.  The Chinese room is ideal for small breakout sessions and can also be booked for telephone or video conferencing, or interview sessions.

The Chinese Room can cater for a maximum of 14 people for lunch or dinner where no equipment is required. We offer our Sweetwater Cafe menu for lunch Wednesday – Sunday, or our Eleonore’s Restaurant menu is available for dinner 7 nights.
