Chateau Yering is delighted to announce that Eleonore’s Restaurant is Open. To dine in Eleonore’s has always been an exceptional dining experience, and we are proud and thrilled to welcome you back.
A true ‘destination restaurant’ for many years, Eleonore’s shall continue the enthusiastic and traditional emphasis on regional produce, matched with local and international wines from our historic bluestone cellar.
This magnificent restaurant was named in honour of a most sophisticated hostess, Eleonore de Castella, the mother of Paul de Castella who built Chateau Yering in 1854, and who had instilled in her son, a true appreciation of gracious living, refined cuisine and quality wines.
The Chateau warmly welcomes Elizabeth O’Brien as Executive Chef, on our exciting path to returning Eleonore’s to its former glory as a true jewel of the Yarra Valley, and into the brightest of futures as well!

Eleonore’s shall be open for dinner every Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Dinner reservations will initially be limited to in-house hotel guests only; but will happily be open for full public enjoyment from the end of April 2021.
