Eleonore's Restaurant

Eleonore’s Restaurant has long been synonymous with exceptional dining. Named after Eleonore de Castella, the mother of Paul de Castella who built Chateau Yering, this elegant venue captures the essence of gracious living and refined cuisine. Open for dinner from 6.00pm on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings.

Sweetwater Cafe

Sweetwater Café offers a delightful breakfast experience for both in-house guests and visitors, with a focus on seasonal, locally-sourced ingredients. Located in a bright, sunlit atrium that connects the historic main house to the accommodation wing, it’s the perfect place to enjoy your meal while taking in views of the beautiful, heritage-listed gardens.

Accommodation

Chateau Yering features 32 individually styled suites, each thoughtfully appointed with exquisite antique furniture and fine art. Every suite boasts a spacious marble ensuite and an expansive private balcony, offering a tranquil haven to unwind and soak in the beauty of the surroundings.

Our guest lounge offers an elegant and comfortable space to unwind after a day of exploring the Yarra Valley. With its inviting atmosphere and an open fireplace, it’s the perfect spot to relax and reflect on your adventures.

Gardens

The heritage-listed gardens at Chateau Yering feature a Chilean Palm, planted in 1867, as their focal point. These beautifully maintained grounds offer a peaceful space to explore and unwind.

Wi-Fi is available for guests, although you may like to take this opportunity to switch off and fully embrace the tranquillity of the surroundings.

Chinese Room

Chateau Yering’s spectacular Oak Room offers elegant period décor and magnificent views across the Yarra Valley. It accommodates up to 150 people and caters to all events with menus designed by our head chef.

Swimming Pool

Please note that the Chateau Yering Pool is temporarily closed for maintenance. Our Circa 1900 Swimming Pool (outdoor), a stunning reflection of the past, is undergoing necessary upkeep to ensure an optimal experience for all our guests.
